LAUREN KELLY
Lauren Kelly, mezzo-soprano, is known for her stylistic versatility, moving seamlessly between baroque and contemporary repertoire as both a soloist and ensemble member. A core member of the GRAMMY Award–winning choir The Crossing, she is passionate about collaborating with composers and bringing new works to life.
This season, Lauren is thrilled to join Lorelei Ensemble and sing again with Variant 6. She also returns to Colorado Bach Ensemble and Montana’s Roots in the Sky, fulfilling her dream of making baroque music in the mountains. Last season highlights included her Carnegie Hall solo debut in Gabriela Ortiz’s Can We Know the Sound of Forgiveness.
She holds degrees from Westminster Choir College (BM) and Northwestern University (MM). When not singing, she is an advocate for equity in the outdoors and can often be found exploring trails with her rescue dog.
